NIGHTWISH ANNOUNCE NEW SINGER

Finnish rockers NIGHTWISH have finally replaced their former frontwoman TARJA TURUNEN, 19 months after the singer was sacked. Anette Olzon, a 35-year-old Swede, has already taped her parts for the next Nightwish album, due in September (07). She says, "During my singing career I've sung nearly every kind of music that there is. I was raised in a musical family and I've been singing since childhood. "I've been in several other bands over the years, I've sung in choirs, done studio work for various projects and I've even occasionally been a wedding singer."
