Nicole Richie was amazed to hear 20-month-old daughter Harlow using the words 'Asia', 'samurai' and 'army' after the youngster spent time alone with her father Joel Madden.

Nicole Richie is worried about her boyfriend's influence on their daughter.

The socialite - who is pregnant with her second child to Joel Madden - was left bemused after hearing the words 20-month-old Harlow had been taught by the Good Charlotte rocker.

She wrote on her Twitter page: "Went into Harlows room where she had been alone with her father. She said 3 new words... "Army" "Samurai" and "Asia".... Ummmmm? (sic)"

Nicole is also concerned about Joel's eating habits, worrying he has become "obsessed" with Beverly Hills eatery Xi'an.

Following a message earlier this week to her from pal Cash Warren saying: "xian. xian. and more xian. that's all i have for you this morning(sic)", Nicole responded with: "do u know that Joel tried to get mad at me for not ordering it last night. I'm sorry I dont want it 3 nights in a row.(sic)"

Yesterday (18.08.09), Cash - who is married to Jessica Alba - posted a message to both Nicole and Joel saying he was ordering from the eatery again, and following an enthusiastic response from Joel, the worried 'Simple Life' star declared them both to be "obsessed".

She wrote: "you 2 are obsessed. Get some variety in your life!! (sic)"
