NICKY HILTON 'HYSTERICAL' AFTER VISITING PARIS IN PRISON

Socialite NICKY HILTON broke down in "hysterics" after visiting her older sister PARIS in prison on Sunday (10Jun07). The Simple Life reality TV star was sent back to jail on Friday (08Jun07) after a California judge reversed the decision to allow her to complete the sentence under house arrest. Paris was sentenced to 45 days behind bars after a judge found her guilty of violating her probation stemming from a 2006 drink driving arrest. Designer Nicky, 23, admits she was devastated to see her fashion-loving sibling being forced to wear an orange prison jumpsuit. She tells People.com, "It's sad. It's like right out of the movies." The socialite's mother Kathy adds, "It's tough. It is. It's just one hour a week: 30 minutes on Sunday and 30 minutes on Tuesday. We talk through glass. "And this one (Nicky) left in hysterics. Nicky tried to keep the brave face but - I never see Nicky cry." Nicky believes her sister has been unfairly treated by Los Angeles authorities and wishes the media would stop wrongly reporting that a drink driving conviction was the reason for her jail term. She adds, "What's annoying is all these people are going on television saying that she was drinking and driving. She's not in jail for DUI (driving under the influence). That's a big misconception. She's in jail for driving on a suspended license, just like the D.A.'s (District Attorney) wife was. She got a $186 fine."
