NICKS QUIT PRE-SHOW TEQUILA RITUAL OVER DRUNKEN FEARS

Rocker STEVIE NICKS gave up her traditional pre-concert ritual of knocking back a shot of tequila when she started to realise she was risking upsetting fans with a poor performance.
The ever-professional Fleetwood MAC star feared she'd go too far one night and appear drunk onstage, so she quit drinking altogether.
She tells WWD.com, "I used to have a shot of tequila before I went on stage and it would give me this acid thing.
"Finally, I said, 'This isn't worth it.' I can't get a good enough buzz on one shot of tequila to risk having an acid bubble my entire show.
"I don't like watching drunk people, especially women. My mum always said to me, 'Everybody forgets drunk men, but no one forgets a drunk woman.'"
