Nick Lachey is ''definitely back on'' with Vanessa Minnillo, after they were seen getting close in New York.

Nick Lachey has reconciled with Vanessa Minnillo.

The former 'Newlyweds' star is believed to have rekindled his romance with MTV presenter Vanessa Minnillo - who he split from in June - after they were spotted holding hands and getting close at a number of night spots in New York.

One witness confirmed: "They're definitely back on."

A friend of the couple said they delighted pals with their intimate behaviour at Billy Marks West bar in New York.

The source said: "They were both there to celebrate a friend's birthday. They stood by the bar the entire time, talking pretty much only to each other.

"You could tell they were together. It was more in how serious they looked at each other that told you that they were more than just friends.

"They held hands waiting for a cab and then hopped in the cab together."

Although the couple haven't publicly confirmed they are back together, they were also spotted last weekend kissing at Los Angeles nightclub Dime.

A source said: "They were making-out in one of the booths and seemed totally into one another.

"They were having a great time and definitely appear to be back on. They didn't care who saw them."
