NEWTON-JOHN'S DAUGHTER BATTLES WITH DISORDER

OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN'S daughter has delayed the release of her debut album amid speculation she is suffering from an eating disorder. The release dates of 20-year-old CHLOE LATTANZI's debut single and album, which reveals the singer/songwriter's darkest days, have been pushed back in order for her to deal with her health issues. Sources tell Sydney, Australia's Daily Telegraph she is fighting to avoid a relapse of body image issues she endured as a teenager and her mother is desperately trying to help her beat the illness permanently. A source says, "Olivia is a survivor. Chloe is a fighter. They're inseparable and they're winning this." Lattanzi has spoken out about depressive episodes in the past and has been treated by specialists in the US. Last March (06), she addressed widespread rumours that she was battling an eating disorder and admitted she had weight issues as a teenager, but denied it was a problem saying, "I went through a phase in my life where I know I was too thin - I acknowledge that. That was a very stressful time in my life, and it has passed now."

This is NOT old news, the other 'news' was gossip. This is a actual admission that Chloe/Olivia have bravely shared with us. We knew that there was a problem but most fans didn't want to accept that this may be an issue for them to face if only in helping Olivia's family cope with this. Truthfully I think this is a very brave thing for them to share with the world. That is always the first step in recovery.

This is old GOSSIP. This article first appeared in the fall of 2005, nearly word-for-word.
