NEWTON-JOHN SUED OVER PROPERTY DEAL
GREASE star OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN is facing a lawsuit from a couple accusing the actress of reneging on a multi-million dollar property deal.
The unnamed couple have filed suit against the Australian star and her husband, John Easterling, claiming they agreed to buy their $2.25 million (£1.6 million) home in Tequesta in Palm Beach County, Florida, and then walked away from the deal.
Newton-John's attorney, Bob Hacknay, has hit back at the allegations, accusing the sellers of failing to gain approval from the bank in time for the purchase to go through.
He tells New York Post gossip column PageSix, "When the seller couldn't close, my people lost interest."
Further details about the lawsuit were not available as WENN went to press.
