British singer and guitarist Newton Faulkner's album Hand Build by Robots has claimed the top spot in the UK album chart.

The 21-year-old British singer recently performed at the V Festival and has also played gigs at Glastonbury, Secret Garden, Cambridge Folk Festival, Wireless and Newquay Unleashed
Kate Nash's Made of Bricks is at four on the chart while Mika's Cartoon in Motion rounds out the top five of this week's top selling albums.
Stronger held off competition from Sean Kingston's Beautiful Girls and Swedish singer Robyn's single With Every Heartbeat which came in second and third respectively.
Rapper Timbaland's collaboration with singer Keri Hilson on the single The Way I Are is at number four on the singles chart while American band Gymclass Heroes claimed the fifth spot on the list with Clothes Off.
