NEWLY-ENGAGED MESSINA TO ADOPT?
Country star JO DEE MESSINA is making plans to adopt her first child less than a month after getting engaged.
The I'm Alright singer will wed new fiance Chris Deffenbaugh this autumn (07) and she could be a mum almost as soon as she becomes a wife - if her adoption dreams are realised.
A source tells America's National Enquirer, "Jo Dee and Chris love children and really love to have at least two, but her career is red-hot and she worries that being pregnant might only slow down her momentum.
"There's been a lot of talk about adopting children."
