NEW SONG FUELS NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK REUNION REPORTS

Former boy band NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK have baffled fans with reports of an alleged reunion - a new track has emerged just days after singer DANNY WOODS denied claims they are to reform. The group, which sold over 50 million albums in the late 1980s and early 1990s, was reported to be reuniting after their official website - which was previously dormant - became fully functional and invited fans to sign up to the site for more information. However, in a posting on social networking site MySpace.com earlier this week (28Jan08), Woods claimed there had been "no discussion" about getting back together, insisting he was focusing on his solo career. He wrote, "I wanted to address the rumors of the NKOTB Reunion Tour. There has been no talk of this and you are getting it from source directly." But now a new untitled ballad has been uploaded onto their official website as part of a promotional video for the band, featuring the teaser: "Are you ready?" Reports claim the song was recorded by all five bandmembers - Woods, Jonathan Knight, Donnie Wahlberg, Joey MCIntyre and Jordan Knight - last November (07), 14 years after they originally split in 1994.
