NEW HOUSEMATES CAUSE BIG STIR

Five new housemates went into the 'Big Brother' house last night (17.07.09) and were immediately set a secret task to save themselves from eviction.

Five new housemates entered the 'Big Brother' house last night (17.07.09).

First in was Karly's boyfriend Kenneth, but after a brief kiss and reconciliation, the couple were separated again as the busty Scottish glamour model was told she had been evicted by host Davina McCall.

Kenneth - who describes himself as an "international playboy" obsessed with money - was stunned as he discovered his girlfriend would be leaving, but in his pre-entrance interview insisted "he would give it a go" even if she wasn't there.

Next in was bohemian recruitment consultant Bea, 24, who confessed in her video introduction to once having "an orgy" and admitting she doesn't believe in monogamy.

She said: "I want to live in a commune. The way forward is to love lots of people."

Following Bea was 28-year-old David, who sorts recycled clothes for a living, and then stunning 25-year-old fashion designer Hira - who sent the male housemates' pulses racing with her long legs.

In her pre-entrance montage, she confessed to having had an arranged marriage and classes herself as "half-vegetarian".

Last in was Tom, 27, a charted surveyor and yacht importer who revealed he goes to church at night to meet people and is a "ladies man".

Shortly after entering the house the five new housemates were set a secret task.

Big Brother asked for one of the new contestants to enter the Diary Room, Hira rushed to beat Kenneth and was told that all five of the latest arrivals are currently up for eviction next week.

However, after picking the names of Freddie and Noirin from a box, Hira was informed she and the other four arrivals must sufficiently influence the rest of the house to ensure the pair get the most nominations on Monday (20.07.09).

Hira - who is not allowed to tell the original group about the task - replied: "Why me? I feel so bad, I feel terrible."

If Hira, Kenneth, Bea, David and Tom fail their challenge they will all face the public vote next week.
