NEW BOND VILLAIN MODELS SMILE ON TONY BLAIR
MATHIEU AMALRIC has drawn inspiration from an unlikely source for his forthcoming role as the new JAMES BOND villain - the former U.K. prime minister TONY BLAIR. Amalric, who is set to play evil Dominic Greene in Quantum Of Solace, insists his character will have none of the traditional villainous trademarks. Instead, the French actor has adopted the British politician's lopsided smile. He says, "There'll be no metal jaw, no white hair, no scar, no eye with blood. Just my fave. The director saw something in me that had to do with the devil. Oh yes! I've taken Tony Blair's smile." Quantum Of Solace, starring Daniel Craig as the superspy, is set to be released in November (08).
