NEW BIONIC WOMAN IS FIGHTING FIT

British actress MICHELLE RYAN has been living out her tomboy dreams in Los Angeles as she gets in shape ready to play TV's new BIONIC WOMAN. Former EastEnders star Ryan will get the chance to go from zero to heroine in America later this year (07) when the cult TV franchise returns to television - and she's fitter than ever thanks to the role of a lifetime. The actress says, "I am a real tomboy, so I love the fact that I get to jump off things and throw myself around and be one of the guys. "I'm doing all sorts of Krav Maga (martial arts) training, I'm trekking up mountains and I'm working with an extreme personal trainer. I've also got a dialect coach and an acting coach. It's all pretty full-on. "I want to be strong, and I want to be confident and empowered - and all of this is really helping."
