NELSON'S FARM AID TO HAND OVER CASH TO HURRICANE VICTIMS

The farming charity organisation founded by WILLIE NELSON is to hand over $30,000 (GBP16,200) to the families worst hit by Hurricanes Ike and Gustav.
Farm Aid bosses will hand over cash and supplies to those struggling in Texas and Louisiana.
Nelson, a native Texan, announced the grants on Thursday (18Sep08).
Farm Aid is America's longest-running benefit concert. It has raised more than $30 million (GBP16.2 million) since its first show in 1985.
The organisation's next concert will be held in New England on Saturday (20Sep08).
