NEILL OCCUPIES HIS TIME WITH GAMBLING
Actor SAM NEILL bets on sporting events to stave off boredom when he's not on location filming movies. The JURASSIC PARK star admits he struggles to keep himself entertained at home, and is thankful for this summer's (06) packed sporting calendar. The 58-year-old says, "I won $1,000 (GBP700) betting on Italy in the (soccer) World Cup. The corollary is that the World Cup is finished. It gave meaning and structure to one's life for a few weeks, although now I've got the (rugby) Tri-Nations and I'm an All Blacks supporter."
