NE-YO TO REVIVE EX-SUGABABE'S CAREER
KEISHA BUCHANAN has been given a boost after she was booted out of the SUGABABES - R&B star NE-YO wants to help launch her solo career.
The So Sick hitmaker contacted Buchanan about writing songs for her upcoming solo project after he learned she had been forced out of the British girl group she helped create.
Record bosses asked Buchanan to leave after 11 years in the band when remaining members Amelle Berrabah and Heidi Range complained they couldn't bear the tension.
But Buchanan, who was replaced by singer Jade Ewen, is determined to carve out a successful solo career with Ne-Yo's supervision in the studio.
A source tells Britain's London Lite, "Keisha has known Ne-Yo for a few years. They are close friends and have worked together on Sugababes material. So when he heard she had left the group he contacted her and told her he wants to work with her."
