NE-YO TALENT SEARCHES IN THE U.K.

R&B star NE-YO is heading to Britain to search for talented young musicians.
The singer is launching a U.K. base for his Compound Entertainment production company - and plans to work on a host of projects with aspiring artists from across the Atlantic.
Ne-Yo tells CMU Music, "As a songwriter as well as a singer, I think it's important to cast my words wide. In other words, I am not trying to contain myself in some little box marked 'urban.' I have travelled the world, and I want to bring that across in the material. Forget about urban, pop or whatever..."
Compound boss Tishawn Gayle adds, "Ne-Yo has always been well received in the U.K. and Europe by his label, his fans, the media and the wider industry. We're really excited at the prospect of building on those relationships and developing new ones with the exciting talent within the U.K."
