R+B singer/songwriter NE-YO wrote RIHANNA's hit UNFAITHFUL after witnessing the break-up of his aunt's relationship. Ne-Yo, real name SHAFFER CHIMERE SMITH, was brought up by his mother and aunts when his father left him as a child, so he grew used to seeing the female perspectives of relationships. He says, "When I wrote Unfaithful, I just remembered when my auntie broke up with (her man) TROY. "All the 'F**k that man!'? I was there for all of that."
