NAVRATILOVA SEEKS CZECH CITIZENSHIP

Tennis legend MARTINA NAVRATILOVA is seeking Czech citizenship because she is "ashamed" of the U.S. The former world number one admits she used to be ashamed of the former communist state, quitting her native country for the U.S in 1975. But the Prague-born star says she is now seeking a Czech citizenship because she is angry with President George W "Bush('s) regime". She says, "Now, I can be ashamed of what is happening in America. The thing is that we elected Bush. That is worse! Against that, nobody chose a communist government in Czechoslovakia." Navratilova was given U.S citizenship in 1981.
