NAVARRO TO LAUNCH INTERNET CHAT SHOW

Former JANE'S ADDICTION guitarist DAVE NAVARRO is set to test his skills as a chat show host after signing up to present a new internet programme. The rocker will front Dave Navarro's Spread Entertainment, which will debut on ManiaTV.com next month (May07). He says, "It'll be a live weekly online show, shot in front of a studio audience. "I have been describing it as an internet talk show which focuses on the arts and the human condition... We will be featuring artists of all kinds - actors, musicians, everyday people struggling to overcome personal issues, doctors, comedians - you name it. "As long as their story is compelling, we are open to them. The show is going to be an hour long and interspersed with comedy, but, for the most part we intend to delve into matters of a more intellectual nature." The new venture will be shot at Los Angeles club The Dragonfly, and Navarro promises fans who attend shows an "open bar".
