NATIVITY STORY TO WOW VATICAN AUDIENCE
Upcoming religious epic THE NATIVITY STORY has been given a major boost - it will be the first movie to premiere at The Vatican in Rome, Italy. The film, which follows the story of the birth of CHRIST, will be screened for POPE BENEDICT XVI and his top advisors on 26 November (06). The film, which stars WHALE RIDER actress KEISHA CASTLE-HUGHES as JESUS' mother MARY, will open in cinemas around the world throughout December (06). The Vatican's premiere, to be held at the Aulo Paolo VI Hall, will be attended by director CATHERINE HARDWICKE and Oscar nominee SHOHREH AGHDASHLOO, who plays ELIZABETH in the film. The event will serve as a benefit, with contributions going towards the construction of a school in Israel, located near Nazareth, where the film's story is set.
