NAS REFUSES TO PAY KELIS SPOUSAL SUPPORT

Rap superstar NAS is urging a divorce judge to deny estranged wife KELIS her request for spousal support as the former couple prepare for the birth of a first child.
The former supercouple shocked the hip-hop world when the Milkshake hitmaker filed papers on 30 April (09), citing "irreconcilable differences" for the break-up after almost six years of marriage.
And Nas has now responded to the divorce documents and is asking a judge to reject Kelis' bids for spousal and legal costs, reports TMZ.com.
The singer is due to give birth to the pair's baby at the end of the summer (09) and both stars are seeking joint legal and physical custody of the unborn child.
Nas also has a teenage daughter from a previous relationship.
