NAS NO-SHOW SPARKS CROWD TROUBLE IN CANADA

Rapper NAS sparked chaos at a scheduled concert in Canada on Thursday night (28May09) when he failed to show up.
The I Can hitmaker, real name Nasir Jones, was due to play a show in Torbay, Newfoundland with support from Kardinal Offishall, who did appear as scheduled.
The crowd turned ugly when they realised Nas would not be making an appearance and started throwing beer cans and objects onto the stage, prompting security officials to call the police.
Several unruly fans were arrested at the scene, authorities have confirmed.
The reason for Nas' no-show has yet to be established.
The rapper is currently embroiled in the early stages of a divorce battle with his pregnant wife Kelis.
