NAS DITCHES PROVOCATIVE TITLE OF NEW ALBUM

Rapper NAS has ditched the controversial title of his new album just weeks before its release.
The I Can hitmaker had planned to name his new release N***er, incurring the wrath of many fellow hip-hop heavyweights and concerning bosses at his label Def Jam.
But insiders insist Nas has dumped the provocative title six weeks before the album hits stores on 1 July (08).
Nas hinted the title could change during an MTV News article last week. He said, "Everybody is trying to stop the title. Record stores are gonna have a problem in this day and time selling a record with that title. Who knows what's gonna turn out and be on that title?"
The album will now be an eponymous release.
