MYLO REIGNITES TOTO FEUD

Dance star MYLO has reignited a feud with American rockers TOTO on his MySpace page, defying the band's refusal to allow him to use samples from their 1988 hit STOP LOVING YOU. The Scottish DJ, real name MYLES MACINNES, dropped the Toto-sampling song from his 2004 album DESTROY ROCK + ROLL, but has now decided to defy the band's objections to the use of the song's samples. Speaking in 2004, he said, "I spent a lot of time trying to get clearance from Toto, but they completely blanked it. My track was speeded up and chopped up and the whole point of it was taking the piss out of the source material. "I can imagine they would have really, really hated it." In July 2001, American dance mogul ROGER SANCHEZ sampled Toto track I WON'T HOLD YOU BACK on number one hit ANOTHER CHANCE.
