MY MORNING JACKET STAR RELEASED FROM HOSPITAL

MY MORNING JACKET singer/guitarist JIM JAMES has been released from an Iowa hospital after sustaining an injury at a recent concert.
The musician - real name James Olliges Junior - reportedly slipped and fell onstage about 30 minutes into a show at the University of Iowa on Tuesday night (07Oct08), prompting the Southern rock group to cancel the remainder of the show.
According to Cedar Rapids newspaper The Gazette, the musician hit his head in the fall, which happened between songs.
A spokesperson for University Hospitals confirmed on Wednesday (08Oct08) that James had been treated at the facility and later released.
