MUTYA THANKS BIG BROTHER FOR "AMAZING EXPERIENCE"

Mutya Buena has thanked Celebrity Big Brother for an unforgettable experience after walking out of the show on Friday night.

The former Sugababes singer decided to follow evictee Tina Malone out of the door as she could no longer bear being separated from her young daughter.

The mother-of-one, 23, had been nominated alongside Tina, Ulrika Jonsson and Michelle Heaton but decided to take matters into her own hands when the Shameless actress received 38.8 per cent of the vote.

Mutya, who left the house shortly before midnight on Friday, told Big Brother she was happy to be going home to see her daughter and have a decent night's sleep.

"I don't want anyone to think I haven't enjoyed myself," she said. "I've had an amazing experience. But it's just the contact, of not being around people that I love. I miss my daughter dearly."

When Big Brother implored Mutya to reconsider she said there was no chance of her changing her mind.

"I'm really looking forward to going home and giving my daughter a big hug and kiss," she said.

"I've had my cries. I've missed my mum and my family. But tonight I feel comfortable to go home now.

"I'm never gonna forget this. I've made some great friends. And you've made me feel that not having things, that I have all the time, isn't important. And what's important is to have my friends, my family, my daughter with me."
