MUSTAINE BLASTS RECORD LABEL

MEGADETH frontman DAVE MUSTAINE is furious with executives at the band's American record label - accusing music bosses of failing to promote their latest album ENDGAME.
The rockers saw the record debut at number nine on America's Billboard chart in September (09), selling 45,000 copies in its first week of release.
But it sank quickly out of the top 100 and the former Metallica star is fuming.
Mustaine blames the album's failure on bosses at Roadrunner Records, accusing them of not giving the CD enough support.
He writes in a post on the band's official web forum, "I don't know what to say. How a record company could be presented with a worldwide critically acclaimed record, and that they can let it plummet down the charts in just four weeks into the hundreds, is inexplicable.
"I knew I shouldn't have done this. Why didn't I trust myself? I regret a lot of things in my life, but this is the most regrettable."
