MURRAY BLAMES JACKSON FOR FINANCIAL PROBLEMS
MICHAEL JACKSON's personal physician DR. CONRAD MURRAY has blamed his financial woes on the King of Pop's death - insisting the tragedy has left him broke.
The doctor, who is currently under investigation over Jackson's passing in June (09), faced arrest earlier this month (Oct09) after he failed to show up at a Las Vegas Family Law court to attend a hearing over his child support.
Murray was due to answer allegations he owes Nenita Malibirian, the mother of his 10-year-old son, more than $13,000 (£8,670) in payments, with a court officer threatening to issue a bench warrant for his arrest unless he paid up by 21 October (09).
The medic's legal team filed an objection to the warrant and urged the court to put a payment plan in place because Murray's finances have been left in turmoil following the pop superstar's death.
Murray's attorney, Chris Aaron, tells RadarOnline.com, "Dr. Murray has every intention to pay the debt off. He's going to pay it.
"He was going to use the $150,000 per month that Michael Jackson was going to pay him, and he never received, and the revenue from his two practices to pay the back child support.
"Next thing you know, the $150,000 payment was stopped and his two clinics were shut down from death threats from Michael Jackson fans. He had no money.
"We are asking the Las Vegas District Attorney's office for a minimal payment plan until Dr. Murray gets his feet back on the ground. He intends to pay it off."
Investigators looking into Jackson's death have focused their case on Murray, who stands accused of administering the powerful prescription drug Propofol to the superstar prior to his death on 25 June (09).
Los Angeles authorities have yet to file any charges against Murray over the tragedy, which was ruled a homicide in August (09).

I can't believe that man. If you want a paycheck, keep your patient alive. A
life is beyond measuring by money. How dare he blame MJ for his money
troubles. Why didn't he research the medicines he was giving MJ to see how they
would react together. And why would you use something that should be used only
in a hospital setting? Not to mention, to be used before surgery, for a reason
other than for sleeping. He should have been able to explain that to Michael
or get fired by Michael for not putting his life in danger. Murry should have
told Michael he wouldn't endanger his life and take him from his children.
That's what Doctors do....keep you alive.
God bless Michael's family for having to go through all this. It's hard enough
when someone passes away by natural causes or in an accident. This was neglect
in a major way, in my opinion. Hopefully no one else has to suffer the same
thing because people will learn from this incident.
..... blamed his financial woes on the King of Pop's death - insisting the
tragedy has left him broke .....
Well his involvement left Michael Jackson dead. Who came off better eh?
He's tried to blame MJ for all his woes, even his death. Claiming he was
giving him drugs then saying it was difficult because of the drugs MJ himself
was taking without telling him so that the final mix killed him. Then it shows
in the autopsy that MJ didn't have any other drugs in his system apart from
what this 'doctor' administered.
The sooner this man is charged the better. MJ is dead for no other reason than
this mans greed. He did everything for money, even risking then needlessely
taking a life. He became no more than a dealer. But I have my own doubts
about whether it was accidental or not.
This man is lucky to just have financial troubles. Most of the world have
them. He has his life.
