MURPHY TRIUMPHS AT IRISH FILM AND TELEVISION AWARDS
CILLIAN MURPHY has triumphed at the Irish Film and Television Awards, winning the award for Best Actor.
The star scooped the accolade for at the ceremony in Dublin, Ireland on Friday (09FEB07) for his role in BREAKFAST ON PLUTO, with director NEIL JORDAN named Best Director and awarded Best Script with co-writer PAT MCCABE.
KEN LOACH's THE WIND THAT SHAKES THE BARLEY won Best Film, with LIAM CUNNINGHAM picking up the award for Best Actor In A Supporting Role.
LEONARDO DiCAPRO was named Best International Actor for THE DEPARTED. LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE won Best International Film.
