MURPHY LEFT PANICKED BY GUNSHOT NOISES

Actress BRITTANY MURPHY sparked panic in her neighbourhood in the early hours of Wednesday (28Oct09) when she was allegedly heard yelling about gunfire outside her Hollywood home.
Concerned neighbours placed an emergency call to the police at around 2.30am and when officers arrived on the scene, they found the Sin City star in a frantic state on her balcony, according to TMZ.com.
However, a search of the property found no evidence of a weapon or indication that shots had been fired.
Cops later put the loud bangs Murphy was said to have heard down to a noisy generator.
Murphy's representative had yet to respond to requests for a comment as WENN went to press.
