MURPHY HONOURED BY IFI
Late actor TOM MURPHY is to be honoured in his adopted Ireland with a special screening of his cult hit, ADAM + PAUL. Murphy died suddenly from complications from cancer Hodgkin's lymphoma in October (07) - and the Irish Film Institute (IFI) wants to pay tribute to the star on what would have been his 40th birthday on 15 January (08). The IFI will hold a gala reception and screening on Murphy's work, including showings of his TV work, including an episode of TV drama Pure Mule, and the gritty Adam + Paul.
