NOTORIOUS - MOVIE REVIEWS NOTORIOUS

I liked the movie and to be honest I do feel that it showed the true nature of he and Kim's relationship. Kim has said her self that they argued and came to blows, her episode of driven, it was stated how he treated her, how he was abusive to her. Anyone that thinks he "loved her like crazy" is a bit delusional to say the least. If he loved her like crazy, why did he never publicily aknowledge their realtionship, why did he send her to the clinic when he found out about her pregnancy, why did he marry someone else when he knew Kim first, why did he go public with Charlie Baltimore being his girlfriend after he and Faith were legally seperated, but again didn't aknowledge lil Kim. To answer those questions is simple...Because though he had love for her, and may have even cared about her, he knew what she was good for, which was sleeping with a married man, sleeping with a man that dogged her and he had to do nothing to get what he wanted from her other than what he was already doing. I respect Kim as an ARTIST, but not as a woman, any woman that portrays themselves the way she has over the years, shouldn't expect anything more. Back to the movie, I thought it was great, it was very long, but I still liked it, I caught a teary eye at points, but it was good. I actually though Derek Luke did a great job as Puffy and Naturi (lil Kim) captured who Lil Kim was and portrayed herself to be during that time.

i just watched the movie and let me tell you, this film does not even come close to the real deal, it was ok dont get me wrong, but i expected something better and more factual, you would think they would have done there homework more, making a bio-pic of one of the greatest rappers of all time. The actors portraying biggie and other artists such as lil kim and pac were definitely not good choices, they lacked that certain edge and style. what was most anoying about the film is that biggies raps were not dubbed over, so u gotta listen to the actor do his version of biggies which was not great, and i was really dissapointed at how lil' kim and big's relationship was portrayed in the film, when everyone knows he loved her like crazy, but i suppose its that way due to faith having such a big role in production of the film. It was good as far as a movie goes, but not for a bio of biggie. The most touching scene was probably at the end when he died, and they showd mrs wallace in the car on the way back from the funeral, and the comfort she found through seeing all of the people lined up on the street holding up pictures of her son and playing his songs. 3.5/5
