MOSS BLASTED FOR SMOKING NEAR DAUGHTER

KATE MOSS has come under fire from anti-smoking campaigners after she and pop star LILY ALLEN were spotted enjoying a cigarette in front of her young daughter.
Moss was photographed smoking and passing a rolled-up cigarette to the pop star as they sat next to the supermodel's six-year-old daughter Lila Grace during an outing on a yacht in St. Tropez in the French Riviera on Sunday (09Aug09).
But experts have blasted Moss for failing to consider the harmful effects her habit could have on the youngster.
A spokesperson for the Drugs Destroy Lives charity says, "They make no effort to shield the child from the smoke. This will affect how she feels about cigarettes as she grows up. In most cases, children will think, 'If mum does it, it must be okay.'"

This is ridiculous, i'm not a real Moss fan, but for heavens sake, she was smoking in open air... Those anti-smoking groups are really loosing all sense of normal rational behaviour and thinking

Good gracious. Smoking is legal at age 18. Contrary to the brainwashing propaganda of the anti-smokers, smoking was, is, and will continue to be a normal activity that adults choose to engage in. There is nothing to be ashamed about and it need not be hidden. Any direction on the matter is the parent's alone to give. And when their child reaches 18 themselves they can make their own decision. Parenthetically, the hysterics of the anti-smokers can only lead me to believe that they must believe that their non-stop anti-smoking messages and indoctrination methods (how many lectures in schools?) has no effect at all. I mean, they must believe that all of their work cannot stand up to anything to the contrary. So what is it's worth? As for exposure to cigarette smoke -- outdoors yet -- there is no science-based evidence that it poses a risk to anyone. The kiddies are no more harmed than if they attended a barbeque.
