Supermodel KATE MOSS became friends with LILY ALLEN when she rescued the pop star from a gang of bullies at Britain's Glastonbury music festival.
The unlikely pair has developed a close relationship over the years, with the Smile singer recently spotted on holiday with the catwalk beauty in the south of France.
Allen has now revealed how they first met - Moss saved her from a vicious attack by a group of girls while she was partying at Glastonbury several years ago.
Allen says, "These girls were beating me up and she was the only person who stood in and said, 'Leave her alone, you're being bullies.'
"They stabbed me in the ear with a beer can and cut my ear open, I also had two black eyes - it was a bit of a nightmare."
