MORTIMER WROTE SONG WITH REGGIE KRAY
Former EAST 17 songwriter TONY MORTIMER has recorded a bizarre track he wrote with late British gangster REGGIE KRAY.
The pair met ten years ago and became friends.
Mortimer was a pallbearer at the Kray twin's funeral after he died in 2000 - and reveals they even wrote a song together.
He says, "He (Kray) wrote a poem called Falling Rain and I changed some of the words around and put some music to that. It's a ballad, it's really good. I've never released that, I've got it at home and I've got a copy of it with a Scottish singer called Jinky Gilmore, who sang it."
