MORRISSEY DISCHARGED FROM HOSPITAL

MORRISSEY has been discharged from hospital in Swindon, England after collapsing onstage during a show in the town on Saturday night (24Oct09).
The 50 year old was carried away by two bandmates minutes into the gig and ambulance crews were called to the venue amid reports the singer was unconscious and struggling to breathe.
He was taken to the nearby Great Western Hospital and kept overnight.
On Sunday (25Oct09), a spokesman for the hospital told the media, "Morrissey became unwell last night. He was admitted overnight as a precautionary measure. He was seen this morning and was much improved and has now been discharged."
Further details about the singer's medical emergency were unavailable as WENN went to press.
A statement on his official website reads: "Morrissey is in stable condition after his collapse in Swindon Saturday night. Thanks go out to all his well wishers, more information will be posted as soon as it is available."
