MORGAN THANKS FIREFIGHTERS FOR SAVING HIS APARTMENT... AND FISH

U.S. comedy star TRACY MORGAN has thanked the New York Fire Department for saving his apartment after a blaze broke out on Wednesday (18Feb09).
The fire started when a lamp blew on a fishtank in the 30 Rock star's home on Manhattan's Upper West Side.
But Morgan reveals firefighters were on the scene so quickly, they even saved his beloved pet fishes.
He says, "The sprinklers promptly activated and the NYFD came by to make sure it was contained... Fortunately, the fire did not spread and no one in the building was injured - even the fish are OK.
"My thanks to the New York Fire Department for their quick action."
