MORGAN TELLS CHILDREN OF DRUGS SHAME

AMERICA'S GOT TALENT judge PIERS MORGAN was forced to tell his children about his drug-taking past during his time as a newspaper editor.
The star was previously at the helm of British tabloid The Mirror and admits he often dabbled in drugs while he was a budding journalist.
And Morgan has revealed that he was forced to tell his sons, Spencer, 15, Stanley, 11 and Bertie, seven, all about it after he became embroiled in a legal battle with supermodel Naomi Campbell in 2001.
The catwalk beauty successfully sued the publication for invasion of privacy after it ran pictures of her leaving a Narcotics Anonymous meeting.
And the incident forced Morgan to confess his past to his kids.
He says, "I've taken drugs before. It's no big deal. I've told my kids I've taken them.
"When the Naomi Campbell case came up, I thought I was going to be asked that in court, so I said to my parents and kids, 'Look, I took drugs in the past , but I don't any more'."
"I don't want my children thinking it's cool. What I said to them was, 'Look guys, I've known lots of people who have taken drugs in their time. The winners stop and the losers carry on.' I'm not proud of taking drugs and I'm not going to take them again."
