MORELLO: 'PISTOLS INSPIRED ME TO ROCK'
RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE rocker TOM MORELLO is thrilled punk legends the SEX PISTOLS are reforming - because they inspired him to become a rock star.
Morello claims he couldn't play an instrument when he first heard the rock anti-heroes first perform in the late 1970s, but within days he had joined a band and made the first steps towards a successful career.
He says, "It was the Sex Pistols' cassette that I purchased and within 48 hours I was propelled into a band without knowing how to play a note of music."
