MORELLO ALMOST UNCONSCIOUS AFTER PELTING AT GIG

AUDIOSLAVE star TOM MORELLO was almost knocked unconscious after he was hit with an unknown object during a concert in 1993. The musician says he was "lucky to survive" after the on-stage incident during a Rage Against The MAChine tour in Belgium. He says, "It came from the balcony, in the dark, and it felt like a dead, wet badger wrapped around a brick. "It splashed me and it nearly knocked me unconscious and then my guitar tech was so efficient that he removed it from the stage before I even got chance to see what the horrible thing was. I have no idea what it was. It was heavy! I'm glad I survived that."
