MOORE UPSET ABOUT MISQUOTED DIET COMMENTS

Actress JULIANNE MOORE has lashed out at the writer who interviewed her for a British magazine article and then misquoted her grumbling she's not "thin enough for Hollywood". The Hours star was appalled when she heard about the piece, which recently appeared in an unnamed publication. She says, "I always say that, in magazines, you learn more about the journalist than you do about the subject; they're gonna write the article they wanna write. "I just saw it and I said, `I didn't say this stuff.' I think I made a couple of jokes about dieting and actresses and whatever. "She (writer) kind of embellished it and the couple of jokey comments I made about dieting turned into this serious expose on women and being thin in Hollywood."
