MOON GIVEN LONDON MEMORIAL

Late THE WHO drummer KEITH MOON has been honoured with a plaque in London at the site of the band's first ever gig.
Moon, who died from an accidental drug overdose aged 32, was one of the founding members of the legendary British group before his untimely death in 1978.
And the star's legacy has been commemorated by authorities in the U.K. capital, with the unveiling of a famous blue plaque at the city's Marquee Club in Soho on Sunday (08Mar09) - where the band first played in 1964.
David Graham, trustee of the Heritage Foundation, says, "He was one of the great drummers of that era, it was right we celebrated him."
