MONROE CRYPT BACK UP FOR AUCTION

MARILYN MONROE devotees have another chance to lay beside their idol forever - the crypt above the movie legend's final resting place is back on the market.
Elsie Poncher put her husband's crypt up for sale on auction website eBay.com in August (09), and quickly attracted bids over the $4 million (£2.6 million) mark.
Poncher - whose husband Richard has been buried in the plot for 23 years - finally accepted a bid from a Japanese buyer who pledged a staggering $4.6 million (£2.9 million) offer.
However, the unknown bidder quickly dropped out.
And after failing to entice other high bidders to purchase the crypt, Poncher has put the site back on eBay - but is demanding up to a five per cent deposit before accepting any further bids.
The online auction will end on 29 Oct (09).
