MONK HIRES LIVE-IN BODYGUARD

Australian pop star-turned-actress SOPHIE MONK is so frightened following an attempted break-in at her LOS ANGELES home she has hired a full-time bodyguard to live with her.
The 29 year old reveals she has been followed by an over-enthusiastic fan for several weeks and claims the man recently attempted to gain access to her Hollywood apartment.
Monk admits the incident left her shaken, but instead of applying to the courts for a restraining order she decided to hire a professional minder, Max Lee, to live with her full time.
She says, "There was this guy who was following me for a few weeks. He actually tried to break into my house. I think everyone thinks because I'm in L.A. I live in a mansion with cameras everywhere, when really I live in this small place with not much security. I nearly got a restraining order but then I just thought, I'll move Max in instead."
Monk admits she is delighted with the results because since she hired Lee, the man has left her alone.
