MOGWAI TO AUCTION DRUMMER'S OLD PACEMAKER

MOGWAI drummer MARTIN BULLOCH is offering one lucky fan an unusual collectors item - he is selling his old pacemaker The drummer of the cult band is recovering after having a new heart pacemaker fitted on Thursday (20Sep07). But frontman Stuart Braithwaite announced to fans they would be selling the old pacemaker for charity British Heart Foundation. He says, "In the last few hours Martin got out of theatre after getting a new heart pacemaker fitted. As we did before we will be organising an e-bay auction to sell his old pacemaker with the proceeds going to the British Heart Foundation."
