MODERN TIMES TAKES DYLAN BACK TO THE TOP

BOB DYLAN has hit the top of the US album charts for the first time in 30 years. The folk-rock icon's new album, MODERN TIMES, has given Dylan his best sales week since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking data in 1991. The acclaimed new release sold 192,000 copies in its first week to easily take the top spot from rap mogul SEAN COMBS' all-girl group DANITY KANE. Modern Times is Dylan's third consecutive top 10 album, but his first chart-topper since 1976's DESIRE. Other debuts in the new top 10 are rapper YOUNG DRO's BEST THANG SMOKIN' at number three, JESSICA SIMPSON's A PUBLIC AFFAIR at number five, 4:21... THE DAY AFTER by METHOD MAN at eight and the ROOTS' GAME THEORY at number nine.
