MOBY TURNS HIS BACK ON NEW YORK'S THE BOX

Dance star MOBY has vowed never to return to a popular New York club after hearing rumours of the sex, drugs and degradation that allegedly occurs behind its doors.
The Porcelain hitmaker is shunning Simon Hammerstein's The Box venue because of its fast-growing reputation as a den of debauchery.
Moby tells New York magazine, "Rumours started to emerge about performances of public fellatio and roving drug dealers and scantily clad women who might be willing to do anything if one paid them enough.
"I don't really go there too often. I like degeneracy... but the things that go on there don't make sense to me."
The publication adds those "things" could range from "a topless girl on a hoop swing, people blowing coke off their tables, and regular sightings of Lindsay Lohan, sometimes twirling on a stripper pole".
But Hammerstein insists he has no knowledge of such lurid behaviour at his club, which has celebrity backing from Jude Law, Rachel Weisz and Josh Lucas.
He says, "I have a set of ethics. I would never threaten anyone's job or force anyone to do anything they don't want to do. It's just not me."
