MOBY TO RECORD REMIX ALBUM
MOBY has announced he is planning to release a remix version of his album LAST NIGHT.
Several high-profile names from the club community have reworked songs for the new record, including Freemasons, General Midi and AC Slater.
MOBY said in a statement: "Remixes in 2008 are more important than they've ever been, and the great thing about the ubiquity of software like Abelton and Logic is that now almost anyone can be a remixer."
Earlier this year, MOBY warned his fans against taking sleeping pills after an embarrassing encounter in which a fellow passenger on a flight took something to knock her out.
He wrote on his blog: "15 minutes into the flight she took an Ambien and went to sleep. 90 minutes later she woke up, looked at me and said, 'I like your glasses'. She took my glasses and tried them on. She then sat for a second, farted very loudly, and went back to sleep."
Last Night Remixed is scheduled for release through the Mute label on November 3rd.
