MINTZ-PLASSE DISMISSES SUPERBAD SEQUEL RUMOURS
Actor CHRISTOPHER MINTZ-PLASSE has shot down rumours movie bosses are planning a sequel to hit comedy SUPERBAD - insisting there's "no need" for a follow-up film.
The funnyman, who co-starred alongside Jonah Hill and Michael Cera in the 2007 movie, shot to fame playing lovable geek Fogell, aka MCLovin', in Superbad, but he is adamant the character will not be making a return to the big screen anytime soon.
Mintz-Plasse tells the New York Daily News, "It isn't happening. The rumours aren't true - there's no need for a sequel. MCLovin' is dead."
